In 1979, a large addition was built to house Hampton Appliance Center, another construction related business. However, it was closed abrubtly in the spring of 1982 when George Bouras died from a heart attack. His wife, Sandra, who had done the bookkeeping and office work for both stores, decided to keep the retail store open and has managed it until recently.
In October 1969 three Airline pilots opened an equipment rental store in an old Esso gas station on Route 1, on the marsh south of Hampton. The store offered equipment to contractors and homeowners, which could be too expensive to own, but reasonable to rent.
In 1971, George Bouras was hired as the General Manager, and by 1973 he had become the sole owner. The store expanded along with the growing seacoast area. At one time, there was a small concrete plant on-site, producing concrete by the yard, which was hauled away with towable carts.

In April 1991, with the seacoast area still in a recession following the building boom of the eighties, a second store, Tri-Rent-All of Portsmouth opened it's doors on Banfield Road inh Portsmouth with George and Sandra's son, Evan as manager. Seven years later it moved to its present location at 10 Mirona Road in Portsmouth.
In October 2010, Sandra Bouras sold Hampton’s Tri-Rent-All to long-time employees, brothers Brian and Craig McCain, and in the next year will be in the process of selling Tri-Rent-All of Portsmouth to her son Evan Bouras.
Both stores will continue to provide the seacoast area’s rental needs as they have in the past forty years, offering quality equipment with friendly knowledgeable service.
