Do’s and Don’ts of Renting Equipment

Renting tools and equipment is the best way to get home projects done without having to purchase something you may never end up using again after. Tri-Rent-All is proud to provide the residents and businesses in New Hampshire with the best rental tools and equipment you can find! If this is your first time renting, there are things to know. Here are the dos and don’ts of renting:

Do Your Research

Before you try to go in blind, research the project you want to do and see what tools or machinery you need to get it done. You don’t want to accidentally rent the wrong equipment and end up struggling to finish your task. There are plenty of resources to find out what exactly you need. Tri-Rent-All also offers 4-hour rentals, so if you aren’t positive on how long you’ll need the tool, renting it for a small amount of time to test it out might be best.

Do Ask Questions

Especially if you’re a first-time renter, asking questions about what you’re renting is exactly what we want you to do. Our rental experts will be more than happy to assist you with whatever knowledge we have in that tool or piece of equipment. If we don’t have some answers for you, we will find someone who does. You’ll walk away with the perfect rental for your project, as well as some new knowledge!

Don’t Keep The Equipment Longer Than What You Paid For

Sometimes projects end up taking a little longer than expected. If that’s the case for you, make sure you contact Tri-Rent-All and let an expert know you need to rent it for a more extended period of time. That way, we will be able to adjust your pricing accordingly. Keeping the equipment without reaching out is not the best idea. We will be happy to let you continue using it as long as you let us know.

Don’t Rent By Yourself

If you’re looking for a bang for your buck, consider renting with a friend or neighbor. Depending on what you need the equipment for, chances are someone else does too. This way, you can save some money, and more than one person can get a project out of the way! This might not always be something anyone else is interested in, but it won’t hurt to ask around!
